Check out the New Cover for Ally Condie’s Summerlost!

SHARE

We are SO excited to share with you the beautiful new cover from Ally Condie’s novel Summerlost. We asked Ally why her Matched fans would enjoy Summerlost, and she said:

“Sometimes I am asked what Matched and Summerlost have in common–and my flippant answer is that they both have truly beautiful covers. I’ve been so lucky in that regard, and this new cover of Summerlost is also completely lovely and unique. Of course, I also believe that the characters (Cassia from Matched and Cedar from Summerlost) would have been friends had their paths ever crossed. In fact, Cedar might be a kind of little sister to Cassia had they lived in the same time and place. I’ve loved writing both of their stories, and having art like this to go along with them is nothing short of magical to me.”

About Summerlost:

Sometimes it takes a new friend to bring you home. It’s the first real summer since the accident that killed Cedar’s father and younger brother, Ben. Cedar and what’s left of her family are returning to the town of Iron Creek for the summer. They’re just settling into their new house when a boy named Leo, dressed in costume, rides by on his bike. Intrigued, Cedar follows him to the renowned Summerlost theatre festival. Soon, she not only has a new friend in Leo and a job working concessions at the festival, she finds herself surrounded by mystery. The mystery of the tragic, too-short life of the Hollywood actress who haunts the halls of Summerlost. And the mystery of the strange gifts that keep appearing for Cedar.
