John Green Has a New Book Coming Out. Here’s Everything We Know.

SHARE

The internet just exploded with the news that John Green has a new book coming out. We know! We can’t stop screaming either. Here is EVERYTHING you need to know, and everything we know right now.

1. There is a new book!!

AHHHH. The wait is over! John Green, the #1 bestselling author of The Fault in Our Stars, is back.

2. We have a title.

Ready? Turtles All the Way Down (if you know this expression, you’re already smiling).

3. We know what it’s about.

Turtles All the Way Down begins with a fugitive billionaire and a cash reward. It is about lifelong friendship, the intimacy of an unexpected reunion, Star Wars fan fiction, and tuatara. But at its heart is Aza Holmes, a young woman navigating daily existence within the ever-tightening spiral of her own thoughts.

4.The book is coming out REALLY SOON.

Like October 10th of THIS YEAR soon. That’s 110 days. Let the countdown begin.

5. John announced his new book at Vidcon

(see internet exploding for further details).

6. And John said the following about his book in a statement:

“I’ve been working on Turtles All the Way Down for years, and I’m so excited to share it with readers this October,” says John Green. “This is my first attempt to write directly about the kind of mental illness that has affected my life since childhood, so while the story is fictional, it is also quite personal.”

If you’ve already read and fallen in love with John’s books, just know that we know EXACTLY how you feel. These 110 days can’t go fast enough. If you haven’t yet read ALL of John Green’s books, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!

Oh yeah, and while you’re at it, DON’T FORGET TO PRE-ORDER TURTLES ALL THE WAY DOWN (we just had to say it again, because saying it makes it real).
